Kosovo police service (KPS) found two girls, victims of human trafficking, in the basement of a restaurant in Peć.
“With the help of citizens, unit for combating human trafficking found two girls from Kosovo, locked against their will in the basement of a restaurant”, stated today Regional police in Peć.
On this occasion, police arrested one Albanian citizen from Kosovo, suspected for illegal holding of girls, as well as for human trafficking.
Preliminary investigation shows that two girls, Albanian citizens, spent over two months against their will in this restaurant.
An arrest warrant has been issued by district attorney.
